I paired it with my blind and it started working right away and still is a week later. The one that came with it a couple of years ago started acting up a couple months ago. I had to keep taking the battery out to reset it.

When we bought our 2 blinds we thought 1 remote would be ok
When we bought our 2 blinds we thought 1 remote would be ok. After realizing that sometimes we wanted only the sun shining side closed. We bought the 5 channel remote. Now we can pick and choose what shade we want up or down whenever.
