This is a beautiful roller shades. The valance is a nice touch. Very easy to put up. This is perfect for my daughters bedroom. Her window faces east which is where the sun rises so the shade will definitely keep the sun out and provide privacy. This shade is sleek and stylish.
Living in the hot desert area of Arizona brings high heat and bright sunlight. Ordered these blackout shades for a door with almost full glass and large window area that both receive direct sun from sunup until late afternoon. Besides the beautiful look of the shade and it's great functionality it truly stops most of the heat and light entering the room. The area I was intalling them has a limit to the width I could use so there is a slight amount of light that is emitted from the sides but that is not the fault of the shade but due to the limit of width I could use. Because of these shades we are able to run our airconditioner temperature setting several degrees higher during the day and even more in the night thus saving on electricity use too! The shades are well made, arrived quickly, custom dimensions made accurately to specification. Their customer service was quick and attentive. I highly recommend.
Love these motorized blinds! I really like that I can schedule them to open and close at a specific time. They are also very easy to install and set up. Definitely would recommend them.
Always had good luck with these blinds. They are cut to the dimensions you request, they install easily with minimal effort, and they do their job of keeping the outside onlookers outside.Haven't had any issues with the several sets I've purchased over the last couple years. I've bought sizes anywhere from 62 plus inches wide and 60 high, to 24 wide by 72 high. Can't beat the price. Which makes the week and a half to possibly two weeks shipping time we'll with while. Which really isn't too bad.. As I've been quoted nearly that long for Shades to be made and picked up locally. At nearly four to five times the price of these. LOL and I am seriously laughing inside, as to how much of a rip off blind companies are.
I had trouble with the second blind getting it to work but I finally got the remote working and the blind is working
This is the second time I have ordered from canisteo. I first ordered simple, blackout blinds for an upstairs bedroom. Cut perfectly and easy to install. I ordered the blackout with sheers for our large kitchen slider due to the intense morning summer sun (blackout) and for a want of privacy at night (sheer). They were really easy to install and, again, perfectly to measure. My only ding, if you will, is that these are not top down. canisteo, if there's something I'm missing and they do top down, please reach out.
This roller shade is quite heavy duty and looks great. Having no cords is extremely nice so there really is nothing for you to trip over, or get tangled in. I included a close up picture of the material itself. The weight of the shade is ample enough to definitely be blackout and I am going to say quite insulating. It comes with instructions and the mounting hardware. Instructions are pretty easy to read and it isn't rocket surgery to install.
I wanted something that would blend in rather than stand out so I went with the woven. They turned out perfectly, easy to hang and blocks the morning sun. They are pricey but worth it!
These are great. My old blinds didn’t fit certain windows properly leaving gaps while these fit perfectly. They were pretty easy to install though snapping them into place seemed to be my biggest challenge.
Yes, you get daylight, but that’s why I like them. They’re perfect for down south where the sun beats into your home in the summer. I’ll still get daylight but won’t have the heat. It also feels like it’s keeping out the cold in the winter since I feel the cold air only when I open them in the morning. And if you’re worried about it letting in too much light, I just added a blackout curtain in my bedroom so it’s dark enough at night. Otherwise, if I invested in the blackout blinds I’d be walking around in the dark in summer. This was an easier solution and honestly looks cute. But these work really well and provide me with more of a view than my old blinds. The shade quality is good.

We had quite a few cellular blinds to replace, including one very long window that had a single custom blind. There was no chance of finding another single blind that long without getting it professionally installed, so I decided to buy three of these blinds in two different sizes to fit the space. The 1/2 inch sizing increments and accurate measurements on these made it easy to order blinds that fit perfectly. I was very impressed with the high quality and ease of installation on these as well. I saved a fortune over having blinds professionally installed. I can't recommend these enough for anyone wanting new cellular blinds.

So far so good!! Installation was rather simple if you watch the video posted on the product page and follow the directions provided. It’s been a fun addition to my bedroom! I’m now able to schedule when the curtains open, close, and use Alexa commands. Feels sturdy for the price, so I’m hoping they last! Overall, very pleased with my purchase.

I am so happy with this blackout shade. It took me about 10 minutes to hang up. There is a small amount of space on either side of the shade, which is most likely due to my 100 year old house with odd sized windows, but it wasn't a problem since I had blackout curtains I put up that block the light on the sides, they matched the shade perfectly,too! The light through this window shines directly on our TV and makes it difficult watch, so I'm really excited to replace the bamboo shade that allowed light to shine through with this blackout shade. It easily slides up and down with no problem. No dealing with stupid cords to pull on. I couldn't be happier with this, and it looks awesome.

I did the whole track system alone from taking out of box to nailing it to the wall! So I would say you can do it!!!
1 Month after install: This are a must buy if you are even thinking about automated roller blinds. I rarely leave reviews but these are worth talking about and sharing my experience with others. I would break it down into pro's and con's, however, there are no con's for me to talk about so far.

The shades were easy to install and while it took me some trying to programnthe remote, I was able to add all 3 shades to the remote once I had the right directions. I would recommend canisteo blinds if you are planning to add motorized shades to your house.
Ordered 11 motorized roller shades for doors and windows in bedrooms and bathrooms. All work great, look great, came preprogrammed remote control. Easy to install as my wife and I did it. Now realize that for "outside mount" that the width is for the valence, not the width of the shade, so probably could be more clear on that when ordering.
