The adhesive and Velcro valance end caps are about one inch too narrow. They need to be deeper so the adhesive strips to the wall or trim for outside mount will meet the front edge of the valance.

We've been emailing back and forth with the canisteo team for months after Hunter Douglas gave us an absurd ($12k!) quote for blinds. We shared photos, they got us swatches to choose from, and eventually we settled on the right fabric and the right setup. The roller blinds are PERFECT. Matter/Thread connection was up and running on HomeKit in minutes.
Install was easy -- much better hardware than selectblinds and other retailers (they use spring-loaded brackets instead of ension), the fine-tuning of the blind length with the remote is easy too.
I really like the window shades purchased. Wish I would have gotten the 100 percent blackout shade. Lessons learned on my next purchase of canisteo shades.
Install went as expected. I got the outdoor roller shade and the only thing I do not like is that the shade when fully raised is not covered from view at all. The bottom horizontal bar actually hangs lower than the entire shade housing. It is just not visually pleasing.

This is for a high transom window. It worked well especially the remote feature. We are ordering another one as a result.

The installation was a snap. the solar panel is hidden behind the shade and the link to my Smartlife app controls the shade daily at the times I want it to. Very nice addition to our guest bathroom to help control the sun and the heating that occurred through the glass to that area of the home.
My Room becomes much darker with these curtains. The build is quality is good, doesn’t feel cheap. They look cool and sleek compared to traditional black out curtains. they don’t block out 100% of light, which might be a problem for some people. but that’s okay for me because it’s just the right amount
They don’t roll up on you at all. They look sleek and really elevated the room.
I ordered these several months ago but didn’t install until the other day. We were waiting to finish painting our dining nook. They were pretty easy to install. And they do a great job of filtering light. And they look very clean and modern. They go up and down very nicely. The pic is taken late morning when sun is hitting that side of the house so it’s pretty bright, and as you can see it lets light in but it filters it nicely so you are not blinded.
