For those seeking a sustainable charging option, our solar panels provide continuous power by harnessing sunlight.
The solar panel plugs directly into the motor’s charging port, just like a regular charger.
Simply place the solar panel on a clean, sun-exposed window surface with the solar side facing outward, and secure it using the included adhesive.
Solar charging helps extend the battery life of your shades, reducing the frequency of manual charging.
Choosing a solar panel is optional but highly recommended for energy efficiency and convenience.
If your curtains are installed in high or hard-to-reach places, we recommend selecting the solar panel option to avoid manual charging.
For first-time buyers of smart motors, we recommend purchasing at least one remote to assist with initial setup and as a backup for emergency control.
For detailed guidance on remote use, visit our YouTube channel.
First, confirm the type of shades you’ve purchased. 9-channel remote is only compatible with TDBU and Day/Night Cellular Shades, while the 5-channel and 15-channel remotes are suitable for all other shades. Next, consider the number of shades you want to control. Each channel on the remote can control one shade, meaning the 5-channel, 15-channel, and 9-channel remotes can control up to 5, 15, and 9 shades, respectively.
Yes, they are independent systems. Remote control operates using radio frequency technology, which allows it to work seamlessly without relying on or being affected by the smart control system.
Yes, if you order the remote and shades together, we will pair them and set the upper and lower limits before shipping.
