Why They Are Loved

Designer folded construction for clean, tailored styling

Our Glam roman shade fabric is shaped into uniform horizontal folds as it lifts, formed with precise stitching for sharp, orderly fold lines. This roman shade prioritizes sophisticated linear texture and effective light management. It creates a luxurious, private interior atmosphere while blocking incoming sunlight. The top and bottom fold carry a slight height difference, while all middle folds remain evenly sized for a neat, symmetrical look across the full shade width.

Flexible fabric roll orientation for tailored light and view

Choose from front roll or back roll setup to match your preference. The front roll keeps fabric in front of the tube for a clean outward appearance that highlights Glam’s linear texture from outside. The back roll tucks fabric behind the tube to reduce light gaps along the top of the window. This adaptable selection works beautifully for primary bedrooms, luxury guest suites, formal dining rooms and home theaters, letting you balance ambiance, privacy and light control exactly how you prefer.

Durable, stabilized folded build

This roman shade structure is engineered to hold its crisp fold profile through seasonal temperature changes and daily operation. Reinforced internal support rods maintain consistent fold alignment and reduce sagging over time, delivering reliable blackout performance with smooth, quiet lift movement. Its subtle linear textured silhouette brings a refined, custom-built luxury look that stands apart from plain flat synthetic roller shades.

Smooth motorized roman lift system with protective cassette

Powered by a compact 0.98 in (25 mm) tubular motor, this roman shade lifts and lowers quietly and reliably. The slim enclosed square cassette shields the 1.26 in (32 mm) roller tube and internal motor assembly from household dust and debris. Fully cordless motorized operation eliminates loose lift cords, creating a safer living environment for kids and pets inside your home.

FAQs

Peel the foam packing straight from top to bottom. Do not pull the packing sideways, as side pulling can misalign the internal lift cords and lead to operational issues. Before mounting, confirm all lift cords sit neatly and evenly on the white cord winder on both sides.

The decorative linear textured face is oriented toward your room, while the solid white blackout liner faces the window. The exterior side will show a plain uniform white surface, without the front linear pattern.

Please reserve enough clearance space for the folded stack of Glam blackout roman shades at the top before ordering, to avoid collision when your window opens inward.

Low-temperature steaming from a distance is permitted, but avoid direct contact between the steamer head and fabric or you will melt the acrylic coating and ruin the shade.

Luna uses a plain matte woven face, while Glam features a refined horizontal linear textured weave designed for luxury, glam and contemporary decor themes. Both use the same high-performance bonded blackout liner.

The textile is engineered with stabilized weave construction to maintain clean folds. As long as cord tension stays balanced, the linear texture will not bunch, ripple or distort along fold lines.

As someone who is honestly not technical, I was nervous about motorized shades. The whole thing was far easier than I feared. The box had the brackets, a short paper guide, and the pre-wired headrail. I lined up the brackets, hung the shade, and it ran on first test. What I love most is the schedule feature: they lift at seven to let the kitchen fill with light and drop before noon so the dining room stays cool while I am at work. When I say the voice command the whole group responds at once. The blackout is strong enough that closing the bedroom shade at dusk gives me a proper dark room for movies, and the motor does not chatter or stutter like my old ones did. The pleats give a soft tailored look that my mother in law immediately complimented. Two honest downsides I want to flag. First, the battery pack sits behind the headrail, so I do have to remember to recharge it about every two months; I set a phone reminder and it is fine. Second, one unit in the set hummed softly at the very end of its travel, though it is barely audible and only in a silent room. Everything else about these shades earns my full recommendation and I am ordering a third for the office.

Compared against a pricier brand at the store and these look and perform the same. The blackout lining is thick and the motor glides without jerking. Folding lines were slightly sharp on arrival but relaxed to a clean stack within a day.

Our attic bedroom used to blast heat through old blinds. These insulate well and the room is far more comfortable now. The pleats give it a tailored look without being heavy. Solo setup took me under half an hour across two windows.

Smooth and silent. Better than my old corded ones.

Replaced a set of cheap cordless shades and the difference is huge. The motor is smooth, the pleats stack flat, and the blackout lining actually blocks light, which was the whole point for our bathroom. Setup took about fifteen minutes for two windows on my own.
